MANDATORY
ECE Certification
A plan that supports two (or equivalent) tuition-free students each half-year.
LICENSING REQUIREMENTS
Ability to meet all licensing requirements
Low risk – good track record with Licensing
QUALIFICATIONS, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
Experience operating a preschool
Proof of on-going professional development
Excellent references
ECE Special Needs Certification (Preferred but not mandatory)
Well established community links
BUSINESS PLAN
Self supporting business plan
Financial history
Ability (if applicable) to fund leasehold improvements, equipment/playground costs
CURRICULUM & PROGRAM
Appropriate program overview
Proactively working with the school/District on literacy skills
Preschool to Kindergarten transition program
UNIQUE CONSIDERATION
Existing operator in the geographic area
